Our story, our vision and future

Founded by a Computer Science Professor at UC Irvine, based on a decade of award-winning and patented research, funded by data industry insiders and top tier venture firms, built to address the search needs of modern data-driven applications.

SRCH2 gives you high performance and high efficiency at massive scale in one framework. We’re showing incredible performance metrics, faster than the industry standard and the many search engines built on top of it. We mean super-fast. Blazing fast.

Dr. Li is a full professor of Computer Science at UC Irvine. He received his PhD from Stanford and MS/BS from Tsinghua University. He spent two years as a visiting research scientist at Google. He also worked at IBM, HP, and a Silicon Valley startup. He is a recipient of the 10-year Best Paper Award from DASFAA (Database Systems for Advanced Applications), and also the 2012 Test-of-Time Award from the Association for Computing Machinery’s SIGMOD (Special Interest Group on Management Of Data). Dr. Jeff Ullman is the Stanford W. Ascherman Professor of Computer Science (Emeritus) at Stanford University. He is one of the founders of the field of database theory and was the doctoral advisor of an entire generation of students who later became leading database theorists in their own right. He was also the Ph.D. advisor of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, and served on Google’s technical advisory board. In 1995 he was inducted as a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery and in 2000 he was awarded the Knuth Prize. Ullman is also the co-recipient (with John Hopcroft) of the 2010 IEEE John von Neumann Medal, for ‘laying the foundations for the fields of automata and language theory and many seminal contributions to theoretical computer science’.
